Enlisting the expertise of colleagues who sport different stripes is one of the great pleasures of our work. We combine talents and approaches with others: creatives, technical experts, trusted vendors, manufacturers and specialists. The variety others add leads to a rich result.

Management trainers say that the best teams combine different types of people. This enables problems to be considered from different viewpoints, producing multi-faceted solutions.

We consider our work with clients and colleagues to be a partnership where ideas are intermingled for superior outcomes. We thank the talented people with whom we have the opportunity to share ideas. Here are a few of our compatriots.

Patrick Pfeiffer
Sourkraut Music
Bass Remedies

Equally gifted and inspired as a bass player and a music teacher, Patrick has a roster of noteworthy (get it?) students that include people such as Adam Clayton from the band U2. He is the author of Bass Guitar for Dummies as well as several other music books by prominent publishers. We work with Patrick in several capacities and brainstorm ideas frequently.

Evan Seplow

Evan Seplow

Kate Baker
Kate Baker Jazz

Kate is an accomplished jazz singer and vocal coach. With extraordinary skill, her approach to teaching goes way beyond technique and like our own preferred approach to design, reaches into who you really are and what makes you unique. Nonlinear nyc is lucky to work with Kate on projects with musical elements.

Richard Kaufman
Richard B. Kaufman

Clever writer Richard Kaufman creates ads and wraps words around concepts in such a way as to make you laugh, think and want to buy what he's writing about. Nonlinear shares Richard's love of words and tosses them around with him on a regular basis.

Denny Daikeler
Denny Daikeler

Our revered interior design mentor, we cannot say enough about the power of Denny's understanding of interior design. As a designer, author, speaker and facilitator, Denny's focus is the spirit of a home that comes from within. Denny is the author of What Color is Your Slipcover: How Discovering Your Design Personality Can Help You Create the Home of Your Dreams. We look to Denny as a model of how to approach design and value its purpose in our lives.

Lisa Marks
Lisa Marks

Lisa is an industrial designer. Nonlinear enlists her services on CAD renderings for products, exhibition and interior designs. In addition to her technical expertise, Lisa's design skills and business sensitivity make her an invaluable part of our team.

Nathan Bibb
Nathan Bibb

No, he's not really our doctor, although Nathan has nursed some of our projects into good health. (This shot was taken just after Nathan's son, Dylan, came into the world.) Nathan has helped Nonlinear nyc “deliver” (aka program) online projects. Besides these interests, Nathan is a music composer and creates music for modern dance companies.

Susan Farley
Susan Farley Photography
New York Wedding Photography

Susan Farley is a gifted photographer. Her photojournalism background includes frequent work for The New York Times, in many sections. She has photographed countless celebrities in the world of business and entertainment. Susan has a unique ability to capture a person's essence, to make them look great and to still show their inner truth and make you want to know them. Nonlinear nyc works with Susan regularly.

Autumn

If ever an animal thought she was a person, Autumn is that. With a huge personality and ridiculously healthy self-esteem, Autumn is an inspiration for all she meets. Autumn is a people person. She greets strangers as if she's known them her whole life. Nothing phases her, not vaccuuming, lightning, dogs, deadlines, nothin'. She's loving beyond belief. Also a contortionist, a yoga master. She's definitely on to something. We all could use more of what she's got, uh huh.

Meredith Goodwin-Bajaj
Goodwin Design
Nulux Inc.

Meredith is an industrial designer and a business leader. Former chair of the NY chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America, Meredith specializes in lighting design. We consult with her on lighting and other design-related issues.

Dave Meade

Having toured Japan with Wayne Shorter, it's ridiculous that Dave Meade also plays drums with WEEP, Nonlinear nyc's musical alter ego. Life is full of ridiculous things, however, and this stranger-than-fiction fact is true. Dave is scary good, as you might imagine.

David Sokol
Euphoria Studios
David Sokol Photographer

David Sokol owns and runs Euphoria Studios, a revered New York city music rehearsal studio. He is also a professional photographer. A thriving mixture of artist and businessman, Dave is a great example of the rich inner workings of New York city. Check out the impressive musicians who have rehearsed at Euphoria under Dave's In Rehearsal gallery on his site.

Akemi Tanaka-Blanchard
Akemi Tanaka

Akemi designs modern furniture, including her great "Curve" cat shelf, which turns your cat into a piece of artwork, as if they didn't already know they were. An energetic industrial designer, Akemi is one of our colleagues with whom we share productive ideas.

Ron Terner
Photography by Ron Terner
Focal Point Gallery

Ron Terner is one of the excellent photographers with whom Nonlinear nyc has the pleasure of working. Ron's main work is as a fine art photographer and art gallery owner.
