City Island Floor Through
This top floor apartment in what used
to be an old 1800s hotel presents good space with several challenges.
Many broken up rooms have doors in two places, taking up lots of
wall space where furniture would normally be placed. The living
room is much longer than it is wide, so placing the couch horizontally
breaks up the space nicely and the room is large enough
to accommodate this arrangement. While there is lots of nice light,
the views are nondescript so filmy window treatments allow light
in without showcasing unspectacular views. Beautiful wood floors
were refinished and mirror the abundant wood throughout, including
old transoms on many doorways. |
